Savoy Suites Dubai Hotel Review

By Nicole Brewer

Greetings globetrotters! Last weekend I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Dubai to see Toni Braxton live in concert. She put on an incredible show. I stayed at the Savoy Suites in Bur Dubai during my downtime. The Savoy brand offers several hotel apartments options in the heart of Dubai including Savoy Crest, Savoy Central, Savoy Park and the Savoy Suites.

The lobby of the Savoy Suites.

The Savoy Suites is located about 20 minutes from the Dubai International Airport. It is located nearby local attractions such as the gold souk, the Dubai Museum, and Burj Khalifa. It offers over 100 studio apartments and a dozen 2 bedroom deluxe suites which are suitable for families.

My apartment had a living area with a couch which could double as a pullout bed for those traveling with children or friends. As I was in Dubai during Diwali or the Festival of Lights, it was amazing to see the expatriate community and apartments nearby in the area lit up all around with lights to celebrate the festive season.

I enjoyed relaxing in the suite which offered a host of amenities. It included a large living area, washing machine, kitchenette, dining room table, high-speed internet and two TVs with cable. The hotel also offers facilities such as a state of the art gym, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The Savoy Suites also offers laundry service, a conference room, and business center is ideal for business travelers as well.

I also thoroughly enjoyed dining at the in-house restaurant’s buffet breakfast which offered international cuisine to suit a range of people’s needs. For those on the go, a coffee shop is available as well. I can highly recommend the Savoy Suites for those traveling to Dubai on a budget, as it is an affordable choice but offers an array of generous amenities as well.

***Please note that I was offered a stay in exchange for a review. All views and opinions are my own.***
