Greetings GTs! I’m just managing to recuperate after a weekend fun getaway to the beautiful city of Zurich, Switzerland. Being a graduate student in Europe indeed has it’s perks. With only a few more months left before heading to South Africa, I’m determined to make the most of my time in these lands. I heard about an amazing student group that takes group tours around the surrounding region and jumped on the chance to hit up Zurich on the low (who knew that was possible with it being on of the richest places in the world). Think American mob or crime movies and you automatically think of someone dotting off to Switzerland to open a secret Swiss bank account lol.
Well needless to say, I did see my fair share of fancy Swiss banks during my walking tour with the group and even more of a share of Nat Archibald and Chuck looking types via Gossip Girl fame (the on going joke was I will find my Chuck in Zurich). Take a look at the fun that was to be had en route to Switzerland and there including the stunning Rhein Falls waterfall and more. Enjoy globe-trotters!
Very nice pictures! Looks like you had a lot of fun. I’ve been undecided about Switzerland , perhaps l should rethink it .
