Xmas at La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona Spain

By Nicole Brewer

Hello globe-trotters! So today I managed to complete my Management exam for my graduate studies…only 2 more exams to complete before finish my first term of graduate school here in Germany yay!! I’ve obviously been busy preparing since my return from Barcelona but decided to give myself the evening to recoup before prepare for the next set of exams coming up soon. How does a travel blogger use their free time? Blogging but of course ;-). Check out pics below of the Marvelous La Sagrada Familia designed by Antoni Gaudi…one day they will finish all of the massive renovations and updates to complete his final work of art and masterpiece.

I was totally excited to check out this marvel of an architectural masterpiece (from the outside at least) upon arrival to Barcelona for winter break.  I happened upon it on their last day of a Xmas market that was occurring in front of the cathedral. I must say, Spanish Xmas Markets have Nothing on the one’s I managed to visit here in Germany. Nevertheless, take a gander at the gallery below. Have you been the La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona globe-trotters?

Great photos, Nicole. We agree with you about Christmas markets too. The German ones are the best. But the Bélens in Spain are well worth checking out. Especially the sand one on Las Palmas de Gran Canaria’s Canteras beach. Maybe you can pop over and see it next Xmas?
