The Address – Dubai Marina Hotel Review

By Nicole Brewer

Greetings globetrotters! As many of you know, I trotted to Dubai the other weekend for the Dubai Jazz Festival (post coming soon).  John Legend and Esperanza Spalding truly blew me away. However, if you want to know what really blew me away, it’d have to be my stay at the stunning Address Dubai Marina Hotel.  The Address- Dubai Marina Hotel is the epitome of luxury and style. It is located right on the Dubai Marina, connected to the Dubai Marina mall.

This was the view from my suite…sigh :-).

Once I was greeted at the hotel entrance and offered a hot towel and delicious cold beverage during check-in, I knew that this suite would be amazing. It indeed did not disappoint. In addition to the hotel suites, The Address Marina offers long term stay apartments as well for those that may be in Dubai on long term projects for business and more. The price of a standard room starts at just under $300 USD per night, including fabulous amenities and services. Once I completed my check-in procedures, a nice staff member escorted me to give me a short tour of the establishment and to took me to my room.

Enjoy some dates and coffee in the lobby.

Once I walked into the suite, I was beyond excited.  The exquisite, sophisticated style was just what I wanted for my Dubai weekend getaway. The room came equipped with it’s own tablet to order services and internet access; black-out drapes; a stunning view of the Dubai Marina and a deep-seat tub.  It was hard to leave all of those luxuries by the end of my weekend.  The first evening after my flight, long immigration lines due to all of the weekend festivities in Dubai and a long train ride from the airport, a nice long bubble bath overlooking the hotel pool from my window was just what a globetrotter needed to unwind.

I dined at both the Shades International Cuisine restaurant that is situated right in front of the gorgeous infinity pool as well as the Mazina for my scrumptious buffet breakfasts.  Shades is a great location for a nightcap and the food was pretty tasty as well, with me dining on succulent chicken breast that was available from their evening barbeque menu that is available after 6pm. You can enjoy hookah, a good amount of music and hot scene of young professionals at Shades restaurant and bar.

This chicken dish was so succulent and juicy!

I did not have the opportunity to enjoy the spa services this go around, but I will be back Inshallah at some point to partake in the array of relaxing options that they offer next time on my trot to Dubai.  Globetrotters, I highly recommend The Address- Dubai Marina Hotel for your next trot over to Dubai in order to consume yourself in the fine luxuries that they have to offer.

The room looks just lovely. I’m digging the plush bedding as that is always a requirement. I’m glad the recommendation turned out to be a sweet treat. It’s hard not to go there again and again.

Looks like pure bliss! Those views are to die for, how lucky you were on the 13th floor (or unlucky?) 😉

    • Globe trot

Haha, yeah. That was the top floor and I was like uh oh every time I put my card in to press 13 lol.

Like a friend of mine said once when we were basking in a lukewarm Holiday Inn jacuzzi . . . . “Wonder what the poor people are doing?” Not sure, but it is clear from your post what the rich people are doing! 🙂

    • Globe trot

Hahaha…I’m Far from rich as a little old English teacher and travel blogger but I do know how to treat self every now and again ;-).

This hotel looks really nice! I loved the Dubai Marina, it was beautiful. You had a great view. Maybe next time I will check them out.

  • Meg Jerrard

Oooh this looks amazing! Beautiful hotel and right on the Marina – $300 a night is a steal! I paid the same when i was in Dubai for a few nights at the Atlantis – you’re not going to get good quality of accommodation for much less in Dubai 🙂

    • Globe trot

That’s true! Thanks for dropping by Meg.

  • Stacie

I used to live in Dubai for about 4 years so never really stayed at any of the many hotels there apart from maybe one or two. Dubai Marina is a very nice area though, I love it. The fact that this hotel is located above a mall and just a short walk to JBR Walk is really a big plus!

  • Mary

Holy cow, that place is amazing! How many rooms are there? It is expensive but sometimes it is worth it and from the pictures it seems this place definietly is!
