Over the past couple weeks I’ve had the delight to eat at the delicious restaurant Slider Station that’s located at Qurm beach in Al Shati complex. A few months back one of my co-workers raved at how great this eatery was and noted how she Always has to go here when she visits Muscat from Nizwa. Once I ate here the first time, I saw why her reviews were so great.
I absolutely loved the decorum of the restaurant as a Detroit native. On the wall I noted the history of the story of Henry Ford, outlined in chalk with a very cool drawing of an engine. The lighting was gorgeous and it had huge bay windows that overlooked the Arabian sea. In addition to the beautiful scenery, the staff were very nice and accommodating as well.
Now on to the food. Every slider that I’ve tried thus far here was Absolutely scrumptious! My first time here, I was most intrigued by the description of the Obama slider that included fried chicken, cheese and a BBQ sauce. It was as good as to be expected from the description. However, my favorite slider that I’ve tried here was the Peking Duck slider. The hoisin sauce made the meat so succulent and moist. My mouth is watering just thinking about. Excellent food, great decor…you’d be remiss not to try Slider Station in Muscat, Oman if you’re in the region!
